It means a lot coming form you as you have a controlled and stylized approach I rather envy. I tend to have always been haphazard and undisciplined. I play guitar and do some recordings (I hope to share online eventually) and my approach there is the same. Some sort of innate talent but no real self control, or maybe there is and I am way too hard on myself. I will be honest Becca I am not a young man any more :???: and now looking back one problem I may have been dealing with was poor eye site. I since use reading glasses ( I live in China and believe it or not they do not treat far-sightedness here... the one where I can see far away fine but reading and writing is an issue... there is no way to get good glasses, unbelievable maybe to you) and lately read more and doodle a little more. I used to have terrible problems with anxiety and depression :shock: and drawing like that did not help and only made things worse. I do not seem to have those problems as much now and we will see. Is that Marc Bolan next to the gal in the panties? I think that "marc" might be my favorite. These are really amazing! I found it very relaxing and a good creative outlet. In fact, I started as an art major in college, but ended up with a genetics/molecular biology degree instead. I'll spare you the long story, but suffice it to say opportunities for a creative outlet are hard to come by these days. That may be why I'm having such a fun time with my blog. Right now I'm on a lunch break and have been in the laboratory for the past four hours slaving away... but ideas for posts and 70's memories are always dancing through my head. Maybe it's time I picked up the ol' paintbrush again.... Yeah, I used to draw and paint a lot, but as you said, it just kind of slipped away. I found it very relaxing and a good creative outlet.
