Hey Keith

Don't worry. All your comments come through. I may be running a really powerful caching system and so your comments may not appear until it cycles through. I also reset the comment controls so that people with previously approved comments should be approved without moderation, but you may still have to wait a few minutes for the cache to clear. Even with this post when I tried to publish it it took about 20 minutes for it to appear on line because of the cache thing. It is a necessary evil really or my site will exceed my allotted bandwidth then will be taken offline until the month ends. I upgraded my account (i.e. paid more money) and have extra bandwidth but my traffic here has grown actually and that, I discover, is both a blessing and a curse.

I always look forward to your comments Keith. I think we have some similar tastes and I have learned about a few femme fatals and screen queens from Sugar and Spice. I think you can tell I love that site more than your fine Dino site simply though it is pretty damned cool too.

If your interested, and I hope you are, I am trying to shift direction here and have been messing with posts a lot behind the scenes. I moved all my "newer" style horror films over to Necrotic Cinema and am focusing my articles here mostly between 1950 and 1980, when a lot of great horror, sci-fi and exploitation as coming out of the US, Britain, Europe and Japan.

Last night I looked over the site and saw that out of the last 12 posts (there are 12 per page) only 4 directly involved movie reviews and that simply will not do. I want at least 8 out of the 12 to deal with films and the other four can be about music or comic books or music but I need to focus on the movie aspect as that is where the site is evolving for me.

And lastly, I simply must apologize, again, to you and all my cool Blogger pals I have had for so long:

Gil at Retrospace
Tal at Meets the Vampires
Becca at Skull Cave
Chick at Trash Aesthetics
Ghidorah at Chainsaw Maintenance (though he technically no longer Blogger but I still have problems)

and a couple others whose blogs rock...

because since Blogger got banned in China it is really hard for me to leave comments there. I can see the sites but I cannot typically leave a comment through a proxy. Sometimes I can but it is hit and miss and I hate to write a nice comment then click enter and get a 'javascript void' message. Or if people use the reCapctha tool often the letters never appear on my end to enter. Sucks. Most of the blogs I visit seem to be Blogger since that is about the best free blog out there. I cannot really keep mine updated right now unless it is a lucky night and one of my special proxies get to the edit page.

I still visit those sites though I may not appear on site visitor widgets even because I am viewing through a proxy, not my real IP address. I hate it. I get lots of new info on movies and actors I have never heard of.Hopefully this will be better soon, but for now Google is even more blocked and controlled here than it was a month ago.

Thanks for the visit and do not worry, your comments are here but it may take a few minutes to appear.

Hey Bill. Great writeup. I've had trouble leaving comments on your blog lately. Don't know why though. I hope you are doing well. Keep up the good work.
