If I’m late for work tomorrow, it’s YOUR FAULT!. Thanks for the link.
Didn’t this win an award for most foley’d footsteps per scene?

Next time let me know and I will write your boss a note. My Matinee category is developing and I am trying to keep one Matinee (or two for a double feature like this) per page. Had some problems before with getting them up here but all that is ironed out and more are on the way. Glad you enjoyed these marvels and even can appreciate the ‘technical’ mastery of the film crews involved. A cognoscenti no doubt of fine trash.

The technical mastery of the bloke who was supposed to stick the artificial grass to the studio floor has never been surpassed.

Right. I have not seen the film in a while but may give it a rewatch soon. I seem to recall the patches of ‘astro-turf’ slipping around under the weight of the actors. In the end this is what camp film making is all about. It is why I find these films so enjoyable. The ineptness in places mixed with sincerity. The desire to make a good film or tell a great story but no idea how to execute the idea professionally to one degree or another.

Thanks for ‘Feast of Flesh’ which I just watched. Half way through I realised if David Lynch had directed ‘Beach Blanket Bingo’ this is would have been the result.

Yea, I liked this one quite a bit. I have Dr. Hump now as well, by the same director, and have not sat down t watch it but skimmed over it and it looks even stranger. I recommend it as well. Will watch it all the way through soon. Glad you liked the feature. Not sure if anybody watches those or not. Now that that I know I will continue with them on a regular basis.
